Lori Teranishi
Lori Teranishi is the founder and CEO of iQ 360, a nationally recognized business advisory and communications firm that helps organizations navigate complexity, build trust, and lead meaningful change. Under her leadership, iQ 360 has grown into a firm of senior advisors with experience across global corporations, nonprofits, and government, supporting leaders through moments of transformation, innovation, and uncertainty.
While iQ 360’s reach is national and global, Lori’s leadership is deeply shaped by Hawaiʻi—its people, its values, and its enduring sense of responsibility to community. That grounding informs how she approaches her work as both an advisor and a mentor, guided by long-term stewardship, cultural understanding, and service beyond self.
Lori’s commitment to service was first shaped through her own experience as a Girl Scout and has continued throughout her life. She later returned as a co-troop leader and as the proud mother of two Girl Scouts, and she served as Board Chair of Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi. In that role, she worked closely with staff, board members, and volunteers to expand leadership and STEM opportunities for girls, including the development of the Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi STEM Center, and to help guide the organization through the challenges of the COVID period.
Lori holds bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communications and Political Science from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. She serves as a Trustee of the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation and is an active member of the U.S.–Japan Council. Lori is deeply honored to be recognized by Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi—an organization that has played such a meaningful role in shaping her values, her leadership, and her lifelong commitment to service.
