Camp Schedule (Tuesday-Thursday)

  • Tuesday - Camp Hollywood
    Juniors Day Camp option or can stay overnight Tues-Fri

  • Wednesday - Camp Half-Blood
    Brownies Day Camp option or can stay overnight Wens-Fri

  • Thursday - Princess Boot Camp
    Daisies attend camp for the day

 

Registration Fee

To register you must select either Overnight Camper or Day Camper for both girl and volunteers. Day Camper only covers 1 theme day. Full payment must be submitted to complete each registration. Finacial Aid Available for those who did not request for the last camp and sold 330 boxes of cookies during the 2026 cookie season.

There is NO REFUNDS for this event.

 

FORMS DUE

To expedite check in, email a copy of the Health History Form completed to mdennis@gshawaii.org by 5PM on May 5th, 2026.

This is a required form for every overnight council camp program. A form for both the girl and adult camper is required.

 

ATTIRE / WHAT TO BRING

  • Closed-toe shoes are required
  • Overnight Gear & Day Pack (packing list will be provided)
    • Bottled Water

Adult Camp Volunteers

Please review our chaperone agreement form prior to registration. Adults will be randomly assigned to a group. Please be prepared to NOT be paired with your daughter's group.
In order to assure maximum space for girl participation, adult chaperone spots are limited to the first 10. 

Unless otherwise specified all positions require:

  • Minimum age 21
  • Current or Lifetime Girl Scout Membership
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check (with no restrictions)
  • Current Driver's License

Physical requirements of all camp staff positions include prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, walking long distances, hiking, climbing, and stretching; requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to utilize camp equipment.  Willing to live in a camp setting and work extended hours; and with daily exposure to the sun, heat, and animals and insects.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must be able to work in outside temperatures and potentially extreme conditions.
  • Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the activity.
  • Ability to physically assist campers with mobility impairment.
  • Physical ability to respond appropriately to situations requiring first aid.
  • Must be able to assist campers in an emergency (fire, evacuation, illness, or injury).
  • Possess strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers.

Adult Camp Volunteer Roles:

  • Camp Nurse
    • *Must be First Aid/CPR/AED and Wilderness First Aid Certified
  • Cook
    • *Requirement: Department of Health Food Handler Certification
  • Overnight Chaperones
  • Day Event Chaperones

Group / Sleeping Arrangements
One of the wonderful opportunities in going to camp is meeting girls/leaders from other troops and sharing new experiences. Your daughter will be randomly placed into a group. Troops should not expect to stay as a troop/unit for all activities. Girls will sleep in their own cabins. Girls and an adult chaperone will sleep in the same unit but not in the same cabin.

  • Volunteers must attend a mandatory Zoom meeting on May 5th, 2026 from 5PM-6PM. Meeting Link

CHECK IN/OUT

 

10 am for both Overnight and Day Campers

5 pm checkout for Day Campers

 

When arriving at Camp Hale Koa drive into the parking lot and turn around facing the exit allowing space for cars to come into the lot. Once the parking lot is full we will confirm the road is clear to send you out to the Highway.

*Additional procedures will be addressed in our mandatory zoom meeting prior to arriving at camp.
