Join us for "Hanaiā Honu," a Girl Scout Gold Award project in partnership with Mālama i nā Honu, dedicated to raising awareness of the environmental factors affecting our honu (green sea turtles). This event will feature hands-on activities designed for age-appropriate levels, ensuring every participant gains valuable knowledge and engagement. Set at Poipū Beach, attendees will have the special opportunity to possibly spot honu resting on the shore. Plus, participants who choose to support the "Adopt a Honu" program through Mālama i nā Honu will receive an exclusive Girl Scouts of Hawaii Hanaiā Honu patch to commemorate their contribution and experience. Join us in protecting our honu and learning how we can all make a difference.
