Join us for a special community service opportunity as Girl Scouts help spread kindness and support families affected by the recent Kona Low flooding.

 

We are looking for approximately 5 Girl Scouts per location to represent Girl Scouts of Hawaii and help distribute donated Girl Scout Cookies to community members at American Savings Bank branches across Oahu. This is a wonderful opportunity for girls to make a meaningful impact, practice leadership and communication skills, and demonstrate the power of Girl Scouts in our communities.

Saturday, July 25 | 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM

What Girl Scouts Will Do

  • Welcome community members with a friendly smile.

  • Help distribute donated Girl Scout Cookies.

  • Share the spirit of service, kindness, and sisterhood.

  • Represent Girl Scouts of Hawaii with pride and professionalism.

Cookie Pickup Information

Cookies must be picked up from the Girl Scouts of Hawaii Council Office before the event.

When picking up cookies, please park in the loading zone behind the Council building.

 

Pickup Options

  • Advance Pickup (Preferred): Troops are encouraged to pick up their cookies before the event to help ensure a smooth distribution day.

  • Day-of Pickup: If picking up cookies on the day of the event, arrangements must be made with the Cookie Team in advance. Troops must bring two vehicles-one vehicle for transporting the (100) cookie cases and one vehicle for transporting Girl Scouts and volunteers.

Event Day Logistics

  • Please arrive in time to complete your setup before the event begins.

  • Parking is available in any open stall in the American Savings Bank branch parking lot.

  • Troops must provide their own table and tablecloth. Tables should be set up inside the branch lobby.

  • Girl Scouts should wear their Girl Scout uniform or Girl Scout attire.

  • Be welcoming and friendly as you distribute cookies and interact with community members.

  • Be prepared for a steady flow of visitors-our goal is to distribute as many cookies as possible to families in need.
