Princesses have often been described with emphasized beauty, passivity, and romance, which no longer reflect the realities of modern women and girls. Today, femininity includes being a go-getter, innovator, risk-taker, and leader (G.I.R.L.)-someone who actively shapes her own future. At this camp Girls will see femininity portrayed as confident, capable, and intellectually curious, not just kind and graceful. This will be done as strength, skill-building, ambition, and independence will be normalized as feminine traits at Princess Boot Camp.
