  Embark on an educational journey alongside your school or community group, exploring the marvels of dolphins and other sea creatures through an array of captivating activities. Secure your visit today and immerse yourself in an educational experience that combines fascination with fun. 

 

  Dolphin Quest's commitment to supporting and educating the local community on Oahu is crucial in fostering awareness about marine conservation and preserving the island's ecosystem. By engaging and educating locals, Dolphin Quest contributes to a culture of environmental stewardship, empowering the community to actively participate in preserving the ocean's biodiversity. 

Program Content:

  • 60 minutes of out-of-water interactive educational lessons taught by our Education Specialists.
  • 25 minutes of rotating dockside demonstrations with our dolphins where every student will touch a dolphin.
  • Age-appropriate content and includes a conservation component.
  • Aligns with grade-level Next Generation Science Standards.
  • Use ocean safe sunscreens that exclude oxybenzone which can be harmful to corals and other marine life.
  • Reduce the impact of plastics on our ocean by bringing your own reusable water bottle.
 

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Encounter Photos

Dolphin Quest photographers will take pictures of program participants which can be viewed and purchased after the program if you didn't pre-purchase them. After your dolphin encounter, your photos will be available for viewing and purchasing.

Towels

Bring your own towel as these will not be supplied by Dolphin Quest. Hotel guests can get towels from the on-site towel kiosks.

Lockers and Showers

Lockers and outdoor showers are available for guests.

Cameras/Go Pros/Phones

For safety reasons, guests are not permitted to bring their own cameras, Go Pros, or phones into the water with the animals. There are nearby public viewing areas where non-participants can watch and take photos or videos.

Dolphin Quest Parking:

Please have Girl Scouts and chaperones meet at the Wai'alae Beach Park (4925 Kahala Ave, Honolulu, HI 96816) around 8:50am the day of your trip, as the hotel roundabout is too tight a space for large vehicles to turn around. A staff member will meet you at Waialae Beach Park at approximately 8:50am to get you started.
