COGGS Lab is hosting a special 2-hour hands-on STEM workshop at Kauai Community College where youth will help design and build part of the 2026 Halloween STEM Showcase.
Participants will discover the science concepts behind this year's Halloween theme and work alongside community volunteers to create interactive sensory exhibits that will become part of the public showcase at Kukui Grove Shopping Center this October. From engineering and design to creativity and problem-solving, every participant will contribute to a larger community STEM experience.
This workshop is designed to make science fun, accessible, and engaging for all ages. Whether you're a future scientist, artist, engineer, or simply love creating things with your hands, there is a place for you in the lab.
The best part? Your creation won't just go home with you-it will become part of a community exhibit enjoyed by thousands of Kauai residents and visitors throughout the Halloween season.
No prior STEM experience is required-just bring your curiosity and creativity!
