Thank you to everyone who has and continues to support those impacted by the Maui wildfires. We appreciate the outpouring of support, concern and willingness to help our Maui 'ohana. We have stopped accepting donations for the Maui Fire Response and are working to serve the Maui Girl Scout families. If you have a particular project you would like to support, contact our Development department for customized options. Mahalo!
As is the Girl Scout way, we received an outpouring of aloha, offers of kindness, and concern from everyone, including Girl Scouts across Hawai`i and the nation. Mahalo Nui Loa to the various friends, family, colleagues, Girl Scout Councils and Troops from all over the country reaching out to us. You have helped remind us of the true sisterhood of Girl Scouting.

Announcing our Maui Sisterhood patch
The Girl Scouts of Hawai`i council is pleased to launch a Maui Sisterhood patch where all proceeds will go back to supporting Maui Girl Scout families. The theme of the patch is hana pono – the good works of us all because we have been inspired by all of you! You have shown generosity and thoughtfulness to the Maui community, and the kuleana (responsibility) to help wherever help is needed. Mahalo! In our actions to serve the community, we have learned empathy each time kindness is shared. Girl Scouts (and Volunteers, Lifetime members, Alumnae, and those supporting the Girl Scout mission) all over the Hawaiian Islands and across the continental US have given with their hearts – donated essentials like diapers, clothes, bottled water, and sent hand-made cards, friendship bracelets, trefoil art, and given monetary donations. Our Sisterhood is Strong
In the midst of tragedy, it’s so comforting to know that our Girl Scout sisterhood is strong. We are hearing from so many Girl Scouts locally and across the country how people have sprung into action to support the Maui community. Mahalo for all the trips to Costco, lemonade stands, opening your homes to displaced residents, donating cookie funds, volunteering to organize goods, and planning service projects to benefit the Maui Community. To our Girl Scouts, Volunteers, Troops, Alum, Lifetime Members, Staff, Board Members, sister Girl Scouts and Councils all across the country and everyone who has opened your hearts to help Maui – we are so proud of you and how you are making the world a better place! Please share your stories of how you’ve helped Maui. Girl Scouts have and will continue to positively impact the world through hana pono – the good works of us all. We are creating a Maui Sisterhood patch where all proceeds will go to the Girl Scouts of Hawai`i Maui Relief Fund – which will be launched in the coming weeks.

To be considered for additional financial support with other items and events like camps and programs, uniforms, books, patches, and program materials please complete this financial aid request. You may submit both forms, too!
