Our meals are fully cooked, frozen, and made from scratch in-house by Lanakila Kitchen, a unique enterprise that employs individuals with disabilities-providing opportunities for them to gain new skills and thrive in the food service industry. These amazing team members play a key role in preparing meals delivered to homebound seniors through Meals on Wheels.
What to Expect:
- When: Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- Group Size: 12 volunteers (Girl Scouts, Parent Chaperones, and Council Staff)
- Where: Lanakila Pacific - 1809 Bachelot St, Honolulu, HI 96817
- Why: A rewarding team-building experience that directly benefits local seniors
