Smiths Fern Grotto Tour

3-5971 Kuhio Hwy, Kapaa, HI 96746

Girls of all ages can join us For Girl Scouts Love State Parks as we embark down "the only navigable river" in all Hawaii: Wailua River. During the two-mile river journey, you'll hear songs and stories of ancient Hawaii - like the King's Highway, sacred Mount Kapu, and the First Hau Tree. Girls will also Learn a Hula, identify native plants and animals, and enjoy a short Nature walk to the Fern Grotto formed millions of years ago.

During GSLSP:

Discover the History of Wailua River and the Fern Grotto through songs, stories and hula.

Connect with other girls and adults to develop healthy relationships through cooperation, team building, and learning by doing.
