In partnership with United Airlines, Girl Scouts of Hawaii is offering a special in-person Girl Scouts in Aviation Day at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport! Limited to the first 20 Girl Scouts in grades 4-12; Junior - Ambassador.

Discover your passion at Girl Scouts in Aviation Day. Learn about the principles of flying, tour the airport and meet a Female pilot on an aircraft.

Official GSH Aviator & United Airlines Fun Patch will be provided along with a Goody Bag, Safety Vests, Earplugs, Lunch, Water and Snacks.

 

What to Wear & Bring

  • Face Mask (optional)
  • Girl Scout T-Shirt
  • Comfortable Walking Shorts/Pants
  • Covered Shoes
  • Sunscreen (apply prior to arrival)
  • Hat/Visor (optional)

**Do not bring liquids such as bottled water as it will not be permitted through security. United Airlines will provide water at every station including snacks.

 

PARKING

For the safety of our Girl Scouts, curbside drop off/pick up is not permitted for this event. You must park your vehicle and walk your Girl Scout to our check in area located in Lobby 8 (United Airlines Ticket Counter) at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. Review airport parking information here. There is a fee to park your vehicle.

 

ADULT CHAPERONES

Limited spots are available for Adult Chaperones. Please review the Adult Chaperone guidelines prior to registering for the event.

*Must have the following:

  • Current Girl Scout Adult 2025 Membership
  • Government Photo ID (will be going through security)


Group Size

This event is limited to 5 Girls and 1 Adult Chaperone per group.

United Airlines Staff will lead each group around the airport.

  • This program event is for registered Girl Scouts and Chaperones only
  • Parent/Guardians will check in/out their Girl Scout at United Airlines Ticket Counter in Lobby 8 with their pre-assigned group chaperone.
