There is nearly not enough leis to honor each one of our fallen
heroes on Memorial Day. Join Girl Scouts as we host Lei of Aloha to
prepare tea leaf lei and an oversize lei to drape on headstones and
around the flag pole during the Memorial Day cermony at Kauai Veterans
Cemetary in Koloa on Monday the 26th.
Girl Scouts, Troop
Leaders, Family and Friends will collect 24" Flower Lei
donations, 24" Tropical flowers (such as torch ginger and
heleconia), and sew lei on-site in preparation for this huge event.
Girls will work with community in making one oversize lei to
participate in the closing cermony on Monday.
IMPORTANT:
-Bring your own needles
-Flower/Lei donations from
Schools, Local Businesses, etc are welcomed!
-Girl Scouts who register will receive a Lei of Aloha
Patch
**Girls-only registration: This registration is
to confirm your daughter's patch order.
Adult, Family
and Friends are welcomed to participate and do not need to register.
Open to the public. Participate at your own risk.
