Welcome to GSH! New Volunteer Orientation
Welcome to Girl Scouts of Hawaii! This orientation is designed to help new volunteers feel confident, connected, and ready to get started.
We'll walk through the Girl Scout experience from a volunteer perspective, including GSH's mission and structure, troop roles and responsibilities, safety and troop management basics, uniforms and badges, volunteer platforms like myGS, Volunteer Toolkit and gsLearn, programs and camps, troop finances, money-earning activities, and Higher Awards.
You'll also learn who to contact for different needs and where to find helpful resources and support. Whether you're stepping into a troop leadership role or supporting your Girl Scout community in another way, this session will give you the essential need-to-knows to start your volunteer journey with GSH!
We're so glad you are here! Welcome to the GSH 'ohana.
