Michelle Ka‘uhane

Michelle Ka‘uhane is the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Hawai‘i Community Foundation where she is responsible for driving equitable outcomes for our community through HCF’s CHANGE Framework. Michelle plays a critical role in setting strategic vision and impact to deliver on HCF’s mission through philanthropy and programmatic initiatives. For more than 20 years, she has committed her career to accelerating opportunity and prosperity for underserved populations. She has a strong background in non-profit management, community and economic development, and public policy advocacy.  Michelle is a member of the Kamehameha Schools Board of Trustees and serves on the boards of the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement and Kapolei Community Development Corporation. Michelle is a graduate of Gonzaga University and resides in the Hawaiian Homestead Community of Kaupe‘a.

Kathy Morimoto

As President and CEO of St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawai‘i, Kathy is advancing the organization’s 140-year legacy of care, a tradition that began with St. Marianne Cope and the Sisters of St. Francis. Since joining St. Francis in late 2023, she is leading its bold transformation, rooted in compassion and guided by a promise to uplift families through excellent, ‘ohana-centered hospice and supportive services.

A lifelong Hawai‘i resident, Kathy’s experience in healthcare inspires her work to enhance the quality of life for all. She was most recently vice president, clinical integration and community health at HMSA, focused on improving access to affordable care and addressing health disparities for members. She also served in executive leadership roles at The Queen’s Health Systems and The Queen’s Medical Center.

Kathy began her career as an audit and consulting manager with Arthur Andersen LLP and its successor firm, KMH LLP where she earned her CPA designation (inactive). She is a graduate of Hawai‘i Baptist Academy and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

In addition to her healthcare focus, Kathy plays an active role in organizations committed to driving progress in education and environmental and social impact. She currently serves as a trustee of Mid-Pacific Institute, a board member of Kupu, and a strategy facilitator for the YWCA’s Patsy T. Mink Leadership Alliance.

Kathy and her husband, David, reside in Honolulu with their two daughters.

Lori Teranishi

Lori Teranishi is the founder and CEO of iQ 360, a nationally recognized business advisory and communications firm that helps organizations navigate complexity, build trust, and lead meaningful change. Under her leadership, iQ 360 has grown into a firm of senior advisors with experience across global corporations, nonprofits, and government, supporting leaders through moments of transformation, innovation, and uncertainty.

While iQ 360’s reach is national and global, Lori’s leadership is deeply shaped by Hawaiʻi—its people, its values, and its enduring sense of responsibility to community. That grounding informs how she approaches her work as both an advisor and a mentor, guided by long-term stewardship, cultural understanding, and service beyond self.

Lori’s commitment to service was first shaped through her own experience as a Girl Scout and has continued throughout her life. She later returned as a co-troop leader and as the proud mother of two Girl Scouts, and she served as Board Chair of Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi. In that role, she worked closely with staff, board members, and volunteers to expand leadership and STEM opportunities for girls, including the development of the Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi STEM Center, and to help guide the organization through the challenges of the COVID period.

Lori holds bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communications and Political Science from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. She serves as a Trustee of the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation and is an active member of the U.S.–Japan Council. Lori is deeply honored to be recognized by Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi—an organization that has played such a meaningful role in shaping her values, her leadership, and her lifelong commitment to service.
