Girl Scouts of Hawaii, in partnership with Civil Air Patrol Kauai Composite Squadron, is offering a special in-person Girl Scouts in Aviation Day at Lihue Airport! Limited to the first 20 Girl Scouts in 4th through 12th grade (Juniors/Cadettes/Seniors/Ambassadors).
SOAR to new heights with Civil Air Patrol Kauai Composite Squadron. Discover your passion in Aerospace STEM Careers at Girl Scouts in Aviation Day. Connect with pilots and even get to explore the mechanics of the Cessna 182 Aircraft.
Cost covers official GSH Aviator Fun Patch, which will be provided.
Check in: 1:45-2:00pm. Please arrive to the location at least 15 minutes before the event start time to check in with council staff.
Check out: 4:00pm. Please arrive ahead of the end of the event to ensure you check out with council staff to receive the event patch.
What to Wear & Bring: Girl Scout T-Shirt and/or Vest, comfortable walking shorts/pants, covered shoes.
Adult Chaperones: Limited spots available. Please review the Adult Chaperone guidelines prior to registering. Must have current Girl Scout Adult 2026/2027 Membership and a current background check.
Group Size: Limited to 20 Girls and 4 Adult Chaperones. For registered Girl Scouts and Chaperones only. Parents/Guardians will check in/out their Girl Scout with the Council Staff Representative.
