Join us as we represent Girl Scouts in the 99th Maui Fair Parade! We're excited to come together for an afternoon of Girl Scout spirit, community pride, and fun as we march alongside organizations from across Maui.
The Maui Fair Parade, presented by Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Inc., kicks off the Maui Fair and celebrates the people, organizations, and communities that make Maui special.
Parade Details
Date: Thursday, October 1, 2026
Parade Start: 4:30 p.m.
Starting Location: UH Maui College
Route: UH Maui College Kaahumanu Avenue Kanaloa Avenue
Girl Scout meeting/staging time and exact location will be shared with registered participants once our parade assignment is confirmed. Please plan to arrive well before the 4:30 p.m. parade start. Additional details, including our exact arrival time, staging location, pick-up location, and any final Girl Scout-specific instructions will be shared with registered participants before parade day.
Who Can Participate?
Girl Scouts and their families are invited to march with us! Girl Scouts should be accompanied and supervised according to their troop/group's required adult-to-girl ratios. Families should make arrangements in advance for drop-off and pick-up.
What to Wear & Bring
Wear your Girl Scout uniform, vest, or sash and comfortable walking shoes. We encourage everyone to show their Girl Scout pride!
Because the parade takes place outdoors in the afternoon, participants should come prepared for Maui's weather. Please bring:
- Water
- Sun protection, such as sunscreen and a hat
- Comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes
- Any personal necessities you may need during the parade
Please keep personal belongings to a minimum, as participants will be walking the parade route.
Drop-Off & Parking
Do not drop off participants along Kaahumanu Avenue.
Marchers and walkers should be dropped off on the Wahinepio Drive side of the UH Maui College campus. From there, participants will walk through campus to the assigned staging area.
After drop-off, drivers may park at the Stadium Parking Lot or Keōpūolani Park. Please note that parking fees apply at both locations.
Carpooling is strongly encouraged to help reduce parade-day traffic.
Pick-Up After the Parade
Walking and marching units will disband at one of the parade's designated locations:
- Iron Maehara Baseball Stadium parking lot
- Keōpūolani Parking Lot near the YMCA
- UH Maui College
Our specific Girl Scout pick-up location will be communicated to participating families before parade day. Parents and caregivers should confirm the final pick-up plan before dropping off their Girl Scout.
Parade-Day Safety
Parade Marshals will be stationed throughout the staging areas and parade route. Marshals will be wearing marked black shirts. Please follow all instructions from Parade Marshals and Girl Scout leaders.
There is only one designated restroom available for parade participants at UH Maui College before the parade.
For everyone's safety, Girl Scouts should remain with their assigned troop/group throughout staging and the parade and should not leave the group until released to their designated parent or caregiver.
