Saturday, September 12, 2026

Time: 9AM-1PM

Location: Camp Paumalu

Lunch will be provided - Potluck style. Please feel free to bring a dish if you would like!

Join us for a meaningful day of trail clearing at Camp Paumalu as we care for the aina and prepare the camp's grounds!

What We'll Be Doing

  • Removing invasive: plant species
  • Clearing and maintaining camp trails
  • Supporting the health and safety of trails used by girls, families, and community groups all summer long

No prior trail experience is required-just a willingness to get your hands dirty and work as part of a team.

Recommended for ages 12+ (Cadette, Senior or Ambassador Troops and adults). Trail maintenance and invasive species removal involve physical work and hand tools, so this day is best suited for older youth and adults. Youth 12+ may participate w/ adult supervision

What to Bring:

  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Clothes you don't mind getting dirty
  • A positive attitude and teamwork spirit 🌱

Who This Is For

  • Community members who enjoy working outside
  • Those who want to give back to the āina in a tangible way
  • Anyone excited to spend a day with like-minded, purpose-driven people
