Troop 4122, Hawaii Island (Brownie and Junior, 2nd-4th grade)
We will use our cookie proceeds to plant flowers at the entranceway to our school
Troop 835, Oahu (Junior and Cadette, 4th-8th grade)
Yesterday, while selling cookies at our drive-thru cookie booth in Pohakupu, we had a lovely gentleman stop by with an unusual request. He asked if he could purchase a LARGE amount of cookies for the ER staff at both Castle and Moanalua hospitals. Our girls were so touched by his generosity and gratitude, we decided to match his donation and double the number of boxes. Two Girl Scouts and Troop Volunteers had the honor of delivering cookies to very surprised and grateful staff at each location. MAHALO to Uncle M for showing our girls how to pay it forward and MAHALO to our community for your generous donations so far this cookie season that allowed us to add to the act of kindness.
Troop 4142, Oahu (Brownie and Junior, 2nd-4th grade)
We are donating backpacks filled with supplies to students in need and we’ll sew a small trefoil in the bottom corner of the backpack.
Troop 4150, 4151, 4152, Kauai (Daisy, Brownie and Junior K-4th grade)
We are going to work with a local mural artist to clean, design and paint the concrete benches at our school.
Troop 331, Oahu (Daisy and Brownie, K-3rd grade )
The Girl Scouts in Troop 331 voted to give back to a local Hawaii organization who run several domestic violence shelters for families and children – we want to comfort people in crisis.
