Join us for a magical adventure at Camp Hale Koa where Girls will embark on the "its your world- Change it!" Journey with a special Earth Day Theme! This enchanting camp experience will inspire girls to discover their unique strengths, connect with their peers, and take action to care for the Earth. This overnight camp blends adventure, creativity, and environmental learning with Making the world a better place in mind. Girls will leave with new friendships, valuable life skills, and their "Its your world-Change it!" Journey awards.
CHECK IN/OUT
Girl Scouts must remain in their vehicle until we are ready for check-in. For the safety and welfare of everyone, family members are not allowed to exit vehicles.
Check in at 5pm Thursday 17th

Who Can Attend: Daisy (Friday Day), Brownie, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, Adult Volunteers
Adults who register to attend agree to be Chaperones and must complete a background check prior to camp. Adults will be randomly assigned to a group. Please be prepared to NOT be paired with your daughter's group.
In order to assure maximum space for girl participation, adult chaperone spots are limited to the first 10. Troop leaders are not required to attend.
Adult Camp Volunteers
Unless otherwise specified all positions require:
Minimum age 21
Current or Lifetime Girl Scout Membership
Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check (with no restrictions)
Current Driver's License
Physical requirements of all camp staff positions include prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, walking long distances, hiking, climbing, and stretching; requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to utilize camp equipment. Willing to live in a camp setting and work extended hours; and with daily exposure to the sun, heat, and animals and insects.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to work in outside temperatures and potentially extreme conditions.
Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the activity.
Ability to physically assist campers with mobility impairment.
Physical ability to respond appropriately to situations requiring first aid.
Must be able to assist campers in an emergency (fire, evacuation, illness, or injury).
Possess strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers.

GROUP SLEEPING ARANGEMENTS
One of the wonderful opportunities in going to camp is meeting girls/leaders from other troops and sharing new experiences. Your daughter will be randomly placed into a group. Troops should not expect to stay as a troop/unit for all activities. Girls will sleep in their own cabins. Girls and an adult chaperone will sleep in the same unit but not in the same cabin.
**Girls and Adult Chaperones must have their own sleeping bag.
