World Thinking Day Big Island
Get ready for a really fun island wide event: the first BIG ISLAND WORLD THINKING DAY! World Thinking Day is a long standing Girl Scout tradition to promote international friendship. It started in 1926 with 150 countries participating.
Troops will man activity tables displaying a country of their choice. Girls can travel the globe without leaving Hawaii by learning about different countries, cultures, food, costume, games, songs, etc. Each registered girl participant will receive a World Thinking Day patch.
Adults may accompany their daughter without charge but are asked to please reserve the edibles and activities for girls only.
Check in starts at 11:45AM.
Closed shoes are required.
All participants must complete a Health History for Council Program form. Completed forms should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by the final registration date.
No refunds unless the event is cancelled by Council.
