Wilderness First Aid & Troop Camp Training Combo Camp Oahu

Join Girl Scouts of Hawaii at camp for weekend training in Wilderness First Aid and Troop Camp Training!

Wilderness environments create special situations not usually encountered in an urban or suburban environment. With an ASHI Wilderness First Aid class, first aid providers in a remote outdoor setting will be better prepared to respond with wilderness first aid training when faced with limited resources, longer times to care for someone, and decisions about when and how fast to evacuate an ill or injured person.

Be that person to help your troop discover the Girl Scout Outdoor program. Importantly, in order for your troop to go camping, at least one adult troop member is required to complete this Troop Camp Training. It is better to have at least two non-related adults to be trained because the TCT adult must stay with the girls for the duration of their camp. Once completed, your adult volunteer title will be Troop Camp Specialist!
